We’ve been taking advantage of the sun for a couple of weeks now, and the weather is getting warmer and warmer. But we’re getting a little bored with sitting on swings and looking for four-leaf clovers. As we reach the end of school, it’s time for everyone’s favorite event of the year. FIELD DAY! These toys are sure to make for the perfect competitions and challenges for everyone in your grade and your family too. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
1. HearthSong Buddy Bumper Ball Set
2. Rainbow Scooter
Gym class in elementary school always involved these bright-colored slabs of good times, and they surely would always make an appearance at the end-of-the-year field day as well. Bring back all the nostalgia of the best races with these rainbow scooters!
3. Crocodile Creek Dinosaur Playground Ball
This ball is made from BPA-free rubber and features excellent illustrations of the Cretaceous period’s greatest hits. Perfect for dodgeball, four-square, or any other field day favorite.
4. Franklin Sports Field Day Tug of War Rope
Ahhh yes, the tug of war. This game of strength and strategy always makes for the ultimate field day finale. This rope, in particular, is almost one-inch thick, so don’t worry about it tearing. It’s also made from classic jute fabric.
5. Franklin Sports Runaway Bean Bag Toss
The ultimate fun-in-the-sun game for parents and kids alike has been reimagined! This new spin on a classic bean bag toss is motorized and will move back and forth as you play for an added challenge. Play on your own or make teams for extra fun.
6. Micro Kickboard
The Swiss-designed Micro Kickboard is by far the best on the market. The adjustable handlebar offers stability on turns, while the integrated tube light will keep you safe while riding. Plus, everything on this scooter is replaceable, so it will last as long and go as far as you’re willing to take it!
Grab your Stetson and tell your friends that the backyard ain't big enough for the two of you! The Ponycycle is one of Camp’s most popular toys and for a good reason. Just get on and start bouncing! Ponycycle will do the rest of the work for you. Perfect for another racing competition when you can’t fit a real horse in your backyard.
8. Franklin Sports Football Target Toss
Any field day worth its salt needs a good ol’ football game! This one made my quintessential outdoor toymaker Franklin Sports is perfect for practicing your tosses and spirals into super large and brightly colored targets.
9. Get Outside Go Play Pitch N’ Catch
It’s as simple as the name suggests, use one of the paddles to pitch the tennis ball and catch it with the other. The ball bounces between the mini trampolines! It’s the perfect cool-down competition in between the bigger events.
10. Sunnylife Megaphone
Every field day needs a good megaphone to announce the next competition and winners. Sunnylife designs products that are perfect for outdoor fun-in-the-sun events like this.
